Source identity is bundled with the site. Mutable health is joined at runtime: when the gateway is unavailable, citations remain and freshness is shown as unknown rather than invented.

Why CelesTrak is cached

Cloudflare egress cannot currently reach CelesTrak reliably. GP and SOCRATES data are warmed from a reachable network, retained in KV, and served within explicit 2 h / 11 h policies. This page reads cache metadata only.

What CACHED means

A last good copy is being served because its upstream was not reached or its TTL elapsed. CACHED is evidence about transport freshness, not a claim that the underlying observation is wrong.

Frames still matter

Fleet ranges are not one scalar coordinate system. Perseverance is Mars-centred, JWST is geocentric, and the deep-space probes are heliocentric; each payload retains its centre.
